Artificial intelligence (AI) can accelerate processes and improve decision-making. This study outlines a scenario of military use of AI based on the OODA loop. It then discusses risks of misuse of AI on the basis of the Centaur and Minotaur models of warfare. Finally, the study advocates moving from talking about to using and especially experimenting with AI in order to be able to deploy useful, accepted and responsible AI solutions in the Bundeswehr in a timely manner.
