In the event of an armed attack on the Federal Republic of Germany and its allies, it is the adversary who determines the location and timing of the hostilities, and against whom one must defend oneself using whatever resources are available at the time. This is the simple underlying principle of Fight Tonight. Against this backdrop, the present study focuses on the areas of personnel and material operational readiness as well as system resilience, and proposes a series of immediately implementable measures.
